The Middle Township Committee will honor Patrolman Raymond Bradley as the November 2014 Employee of the Month at its next meeting, to be held December 15th at 6 p.m.
Bradley was nominated by his sergeant, Mark Higginbottom, in admiration of “his profound respect for his country, and willingness to lend a hand to not only those that have served our nation, but also to all the men and women in blue.” Said Higginbottom,“Ray is a tremendous asset to the Middle Township Police Department and should be recognized for his outstanding attitude and growth within the department.”
“I’m proud that we have been able to work with Chief Leusner to hire several new officers in the last few years,” Mayor Tim Donohue said. “Ray Bradley exemplifies the commitment and professionalism instilled in these new hires through our training programs and high standards. Patrolman Bradley approaches every situation with respect for all involved. He comes from a law enforcement family and it shows in his respect for the uniform and all it entails. His dedication to America’s veterans and his fellow officers are worthy of this recognition and an example for all our employees to follow.”
Bradley was sworn in as a Middle Township Police Officer in February 2012. He grew up in Dennis Township and moved to Middle Township prior to enlisting in the Air National Guard. According to Bradley, “The best part of the job is that there is never a routine day. When you go into work you never know what the day or night is going to bring, which makes it interesting.”
Currently a resident of Wildwood, Bradley enjoys fishing, keeping up his physical fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
The Middle Township Employee of the Month program was initiated by the Township Committee to honor employees who exemplify the Township’s commitment to better delivery of services and going the extra mile for residents. The program culminates with the Darius Graham Employee of the Year honor that is named after one of the Township’s most beloved employees in its history.
Nominations for the Employee of the Month Program are available inside Middle Township hall at three locations: Human Resources and Training Department, Administration Department, and on the bulletin board. Residents from the Township who have had a very positive interaction with any Middle Township employee may pick up the one-page nomination form and fill it out in the employee’s behalf. Each month a Township employee will be selected; the winning nominee will receive a certificate at a future Township Committee meeting along with a photograph posted on the bulletin board.
