The Township of Middle is accepting applications for a full-time position in the Human Resources and Training Department. Applicants will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior HR staff in a support position. Under supervision, this position carries responsibilities and involvement in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance. Position includes assisting with the coordination and administration of employee benefit programs, fringe benefit packages and pension plans. Completes and processes various forms required for enrollments, adjustments, terminations, benefits, and pension plans, which may also include those required for union dues, garnishments, and other deductions from pay. Candidates must have the ability to interact well with the public, fellow employees and public officials. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel, is mandatory. Salary range $22,000.00 – $25,000.00.
