Sittineri EOM 1-18-17At its 6 p.m. meeting tonight, the Middle Township Committee will honor Nancy Sittineri as the January 2017 Employee of the Month. Sittineri began her career with Middle Township in August 2016 and serves as the Grants and Economic Development Coordinator.

“Nancy has been an asset to our Finance Department. She is a person who says ‘anything I can do to help,’ truly means it, and follows through and assists regardless of whether the task is within her general work scope,” said Susan Quinones, Township CFO. “As a new employee with a variety of job duties, Nancy has taken ownership of her position and does not hesitate to gain knowledge and understanding, while facilitating open lines of communication to ensure deadlines are met and work processes run smoothly.”

Sittineri states that her favorite aspects of her job are her co-workers and assisting the public in various capacities.

Economic Development Council Chairman Brian Murphy stated, “Nancy has been a welcome addition to the Economic Development Council. Her energy level and positive attitude has significantly changed the council in a very positive way. People like Nancy Sittineri make Middle Township a special place to live and open a business.”

A resident of Cape May Court House, Sittineri has been married for 22 years. She and her husband Joe have three daughters–Victoria, 20, and Jenna and Alyssa, 17-year-old twins.  In her spare time she likes to collect shells, watch baseball and softball, read and spend time with her family.

The Middle Township Employee of the Month program was initiated by the Township Committee to honor employees who exemplify the Township’s commitment to better delivery of services and going the extra mile for residents. The program culminates with the Darius Graham Employee of the Year honor that is named after one of the Township’s most beloved employees in its history.

Nominations for the Employee of the Month Program are available inside Middle Township hall at three locations: Human Resources and Training Department, Administration Department, and on the bulletin board. Residents from the Township who have had a very positive interaction with any Middle Township employee may pick up the one-page nomination form and fill it out in the employee’s behalf. Each month a Township employee will be selected; the winning nominee will receive a certificate at a future Township Committee meeting along with a photograph posted on the bulletin board.
