REMINDER TO RESIDENTS – NEW AS OF JANUARY 1st!!
The Township of Middle contracted with a new trash collection company, Pinelands Recycling, as of January 1, 2025.
Chapter 158 of the Township Code (last amended in 1988), states:
“Each occupant of any residential premises or mobile home lot in this Township shall provide suitable containers for collection of garbage and trash. Said containers shall be made of either metal or plastic; they shall be watertight and have close-fitting covers; and each single-family residence may utilize up to four (4) cans of thirty-five (35) gallons each or three (3) cans of forty-eight (48) gallons each.”
Trash bags placed at the roadway or curb will not be collected, trash bags must be placed in an appropriate trash container for collection.
