Summer Concert Series Returns to Middle Township

The family-friendly events will feature new food offerings, vendors and bands

Settle in for a summer of free music at the Ockie Wisting Complex in Middle Township.

Sway along to favorite songs at Middle Township’s Summer Concert Series.

The concerts will provide toe-tapping music from 6pm to 8:30 pm on Tuesdays from July 5 to August 30 at the Ockie Wisting Recreation Complex. No concert will be held on August 2, when the Township will host National Night Out at the Goshen Complex.

The popular concerts will feature a few new food offerings, vendors, and musical acts – but don’t worry, some favorites will be returning, too. Guests are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, coolers, and, of course, their dancing shoes.

“The community looks forward to the concert series every summer,” says Mayor Tim Donohue. “We are proud to provide special events that become local traditions. We can’t wait to see everyone there!”

Here is the lineup of musical acts:

July 5 – Best of the Eagles

July 12 – Shot of Southern

July 19 – Independence Day

July 26 – Soul Cruisers

August 9 – Legacy

August 16 – Animal House

August 23 – Coast 2 Coast

August 30 – The Big House Band

Concertgoers who arrive early can take in some of the fun features at the Ockie Wisting Complex, which includes walking trails, a wildlife observation deck, boardwalk and fishing pier at the pond, picnic area and playground.

There’s also a regulation-size disc golf course and soccer fields.

Concert sponsorship opportunities are still available. For information, please call Special Events at (609) 465-8728.
